The Hedrons Are Nominated For A BT DMA
The Hedrons are pleased to announce that they have just scored their first ever music award nomination in the ‘Best Artist Promotion’ category for this year’s BT Digital Music Awards, alongside David Gilmour, The Rakes, Robbie Williams and Stereophonics.
The band gained this very special recognition specifically for their groundbreaking live performance within the virtual world Second Life in October of last year, which marked the release of their top 5 UK indie single ‘I Need You‘. This particular award is judged by music industry officials and the results will be revealed at the official event on October 2nd.
The BTDMAs remain the UK’s only awards that are completely dedicated to digital music entertainment. The show will feature live performances by some of the nominees and will be broadcast on Channel 4. For more details on the awards, please visit www.btdma.com.
